School of Ministry: Prayer Counseling Practicum

Purpose

Sunodía Prayer Counseling ("Sunodía") aims to spread the message of the essential relationship between healing and discipleship. Additionally, it is to be instrumental in seeing prayer counseling become a regular part of the spiritual disciplines of churches in our community and beyond.

The Prayer Counseling Practicum is intended to provide ongoing mentoring for former Sunodía students and interns. It is to be a safe space where they can:

• debrief and/or troubleshoot about roadblocks they have encountered when ministering
• learn more about various inner healing models
• refresh their knowledge about the inner healing models they have already learned about in the Sunodía School of Ministry
• discuss their own ministry and gain insight from fellow practicum students
• pursue continued personal healing
• find intercessory support
• develop a community of like-minded individuals 

Prerequisite

Practicum students must be graduates of a previous Sunodía School* or have successfully completed a Sunodía internship or field experience program.

*School of Ministry: Principles of Prayer Counseling or School of Healing Prayer

Schedule

Practicum students will meet bi-weekly for instruction and to practice doing healing prayer with one another. Please note that there will be no sessions during Sunodía School break weeks. In those cases, there will be a three-week break between sessions.
