Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a complex mental health condition that deeply affects emotional regulation, identity, and relationships. This seminar provides an overview of the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for BPD and explores the environmental and relational factors that can contribute to its development. Participants will also gain a foundational understanding of the evidence-based treatment approaches currently used in clinical settings.

Beyond Diagnosis: Christian Counseling and Borderline Personality Disorder will explore how Christian counseling may complement traditional treatment approaches. By thoughtfully integrating scripture, prayer, and a biblical understanding of identity and healing, Christian counselors may offer additional support for individuals struggling with the emotional and relational challenges associated with BPD.

Format: This seminar will include live teaching from the presenter along with opportunities for reflection and learning throughout the session. The material is designed to introduce key concepts related to Borderline Personality Disorder and explore how Christian counseling perspectives may thoughtfully integrate with established clinical approaches. This seminar is educational in nature and is not intended to replace professional mental health treatment.
